Financing Candidates Most Likely to Be Approved:
Presently, the following companies tend to finance only those individuals who have at least two years of experience within the retail food industry and who exhibit creditworthiness:

First-Time Buyers & Startups:
Currently many financial institutions consider restaurants and mobile food businesses synonymous, despite the obvious, numerous and varied differences between the two.  As many of these companies have lost money funding startup restaurants, they are reluctant to fund startup mobile food businesses as well. 

SBA Loans and Helpful Information for Small Business Owners & Startups
A wealth of information and resources is also available through the United States Small Business Administration (SBA).  In addition to information specifically geared towards small businesses and startups, the SBA also offers funding programs and loans for existing businesses and startups.  For more information, please visit and explore the SBA website for more information:

Factors which may make it difficult to obtain financing:
*Personal or business bankruptcy filed within the last seven years.
*Property foreclosures or repossessions.
*Unresolved, past-due or excessive credit balances.
*Lack of an established credit history.
*Poor credit rating/score.
*Insufficient income or projected earnings compared to present or projected credit balance.
*Low bank account average balance (typically, less than $999.00 is considered low).

These are just some factors considered when reviewing a lease or finance application, there may be others not listed above.  Certain financial institutions will take explanations into consideration and may overlook some factors under certain circumstances.  Please contact the respective companies to determine the likelihood of obtaining their services for your specific needs.
